Aurela Gaçe representa a Albania en Eurovisión 2011con el tema "Kënga Ime", que significa "Mi canción".
La cantante Aurela Gaçe tiene 36 años y en la actualidad vive en Nueva York. Se trasladó a Estados Unidos en el año 2002, donde ha alcanzado una gran popularidad entre la comunidad de origen de albano del país.
Además, ha publicado cinco discos (el último en el año 2008) y ha realizados varias giras por diversas ciudades de Estados Unidos.
Ahora regresa a Albania con la finalidad de dejar a su país en un buen puesto en la final del Festival de Eurovisión y superar la decimosexta posición alcanzada por Juliana Pasha el pasado año con la canción "It's All About You".
