A two-episode mini-series inspired in the prosecution of Dolores Vazquez following the disappearance and murder of 19-year-old Rocío Wanninkhof. Arrested as suspect of the crime bye the Spanish Civil Guard and trialed, she was initially declared guilty.
It is precisely around her trial and public “lynching” that the series resolves, as well as tje subsequent arrest of the real murderer, Tony King, a British citizen, who was also found guilty of the murder of Sona Carabantes, another young woman.
Based on real story, “El caso Wanninkhof” follows the court decisions on the case and the information published in the media. The name of the main characters, as well as many scenes, situations and places are fictional.
