Searching for the footprints of flamenco in Spanish baroque music was the perfect excuse to attend the concert offered in the Patio de Los Arrayanes at the Alhambra by flamenco singer Rocío Márquez, accompanied by violist Fahmi Alqhai, with a programme including songs that fused the two trends. The dialogue of old and new sounds immersed the public into baroque music, where there are clears signs that it is a remote predecessor of today's flamenco.
