The trial for the Bodegas Stratus case has begun,described by the Public Prosecutor's Office as the "worst environmental attack" ever experienced in the island of Lanzarote.
10 accused persons are on trial for supposed irregularities in the construction of the cellars, along with the complicity of several politicians, including the current mayoress of Yaiza, Gladys Acuña.
