The Navantia shipyard in Puerto Real (Cádiz) has started cutting steel this morning for the East Anglia One offshore wind farm that the company Iberdrola plans to build in the United Kingdom. The scope of the contract includes the construction of a ‘Top Side’ module, its support structure (jacket) in the Puerto Real shipyard and "offshore" support for its commissioning in the North Sea. For Navantia, the project is expected to create 350 jobs on average, with a maximum of 600, during the next 18 months.
