The regional Parliament will draft the future Canary Islands¿ Law of Historical Memory by consensus.
The law aims to provide moral reparation for those who suffered persecution and violence during the Civil War and dictatorship.
The law would aid the exhumation and identification of the remains of those persecuted at the hands of the Franco dictatorship and the creation of a DNA bank.
